1) How much the package costs?
The package costs Rs. 1,50,000/- and there are no hidden charges. This price includes the hardware supplied and one year maintenance. Second year onwards Rs. 15000/- per annum has to be paid for receiving updates.
2) What hardware you provide along with software package?
We will provide the following hardware along with software package.
1) One barcode scanner to scan barcodes on library books. Sstudents ID cards can also be scanned if barcoded.
2) Preprinted barcode labels for use in library.
3) One GPRS Modem to send SMS to staff, students and parents.
3) How many preprinted barcode labels you supply?
We will provide two preprinted labels for each book in the library. If you have 10000 books in the library, we will provide you 20000 preprinted barcode labels.
4) Do we need barcode printer to print barcodes in future?
No. You can use laser printer to print barcodes in future. A4 Barcode sheets are available in the market.
5) How many users can use your package? Is there any restriction on number of users?
You don’t need any special computer hardware to install our package. Any Desktop PC with windows XP or Server with windows 2003 operating system is enough to load our package.
6) Can we configure your package to access through internet?
Yes. You can assign one public static IP address to the system in which our software package (ECAP) is installed and access the application from anywhere in the world.
7) How does your software restrict access to only authorized users?
You can create any number of user levels and set page level access rights for all the modules using our software. Users will have access rights as per the user levels they are tagged to.
8) What computer hardware is needed to install your software package?
You don’t need any special computer hardware to install our package. Any Desktop PC with windows XP or Server with windows 2003 operating system is enough to load our package.
9) What front end and back end have been used in your package?
WE have developed this package using Microsoft .net platform. We have used C#.net as front end and SQL Server 2005 as back end.
10) Do we need to purchase SQL Server 2005 to load your package?
No. We will provide SQL Server 2005 Express Edition software which is downloadable from Microsoft website for free of cost to host the database.
11) Do you customize the screens in the package?
Yes. We visit your current website and take your favorite clolours, Logo and pictures and adopt them in the package.
12) How do we need to enter students, staff, library books and previous fee receipts data?
It is very simple. You can download excel sheets from the package and enter the data in the sheets and import the data into the database from these sheets using the interfaces available for this purpose. We can also provide you excel sheets before the software is loaded.
13) How much time you need to install the package?Once data is ready in the excel sheets, It is just matter of hours to install the package and using it..
14) Do you provide personal training?
Yes. Though our software is very user friendly, we still provide one to one personal training so as to make sure that every user can very effectively operate our software and make the installation grand success.
15) Do you provide training material?
Yes. We provide very exhaustive training material in form of FAQs.
16) What about the changes we propose in the software?
Your suggestions are very important to us and they are given immediate attention. We give you free release for every three months during the first year. These releases contain not only changes suggested by you but also the changes suggested by other colleges.
17) Do we need to pay anything for the changes proposed by us in the software?
No.
18) How much we need to pay for annual maintenance?
Rs. 10000/- per annum from second year.
19) Can you integrate biometrics fingerprint devices with your software?
Yes. We also deal with biometrics based fingerprint devices to capture attendance for staff and students. We can supply fingerprint devices at very competitive rates and integrate them with our software
20)Can we send generic SMS to parents during admissions time using your software?
Yes. You can send promotional SMS to parents of prospective students using our software. This is quite economical. Each SMS will cost you less than a paisa.
21) Do we need to purchase any specific hardware or software to run your package?
No
22) Can data be uploaded to our website from your package?
Yes. We can either schedule the database server to upload data to your web server at regular intervals or using Web Upload Option in Administration module of our package.
23) Can we export your software reports to excel?
Yes. Every report has Export to Excel option and Print Option. You can either print reports or export reports content to excel sheet.
